Zoviet France is an experimental music collective that emerged in the early 1980s & has involved the roll of memebers including Lisa Hale, Peter Jensen, Ben Ponton, Mark Spybey (of Dead Voices On Air), Robin Storey (of Rapoon) and Mark Warren. Preferring to remain semi-anonymous & away from a scrutiny of a music industry, the band's history & evolution is largely undefined. It is better known for their atmospherical act involving a have of found sounds & tape loops being heavy made and manipulated farther by electronic hardware like results processors, guitar pedals, and purification. It were too easily known for typically releasing a original editions of their works in LP in unusual packaging such as canvas bags or even unadorned unlifelike boxes.
